Born, raised and educated in Nigeria, Abimbola began working through a college work-study program while simultaneously running a jewelry business. Entrepreneurship was never a later discovery; it has always been part of how she moves through the world.

Her career has moved from executive assistant to administrative assistant, operations manager, project manager, paralegal, and into strategy and senior project management with business integration.

Each role added another lens: how people, systems, and ideas come together to make progress possible.

Her experience spans automotive at Audi of America, AI and SaaS at Superb AI, financial services at JPMorgan Chase, and healthcare. Today, she works full-time at Audi of America, under the Volkswagen Group — her 9-to-5 — while her 5-to-9 is building Mount Gilgal and her other ventures, Something Light Experiences and Something Light Supper Club—both of which will eventually sit under the Mount Gilgal umbrella.

Faith is central to Abimbola’s life and Mount Gilgal grows from that conviction: move faithfully, build thoughtfully, and make room for others to flourish.
